  • Text: Guardian's Petition.
    Petition of Martha L Forsyth in the matter of the estate
    of [blank] deceased, for letters of guardianship.
    To the Hom. B. F. ? Judge of the County Court
    of Adams County.
    The Petition of the undersigned Martha L Forsyth
    respectfully represents
    that Alpha L Forsyth is a minor aged 15 years on the 24 day of July A.D. 1881;
    that said minor is resident of the County; that he has no
    father living; that said minor
    has a guardian appointed by the County
    Court of Hancock Co Ill. but being now
    over the age of 14 years, makes his selection
    in writing for the appointement of your petitioner
    That said minor is Entitled to 1/3 intrest in
    80 Acres of farming land in the Hancock Co
    Ill. of An usual rental value of About $80.00
    and that your petitioner is the mother of and desires
    to be appointed guardian of said minor.
