  • Text: Mrs. Martha Forsyth passed away about 9:30 this morning at the home of her son, J. M. Forsyth, 83 Duffield avenue. She was an invalid for the past two years and died from an attack of neuralgia of the heart.

    The deceased was born Jan. 10, 1846 in Adams county. Her marriage to Wm. H. Forsythe took place in 1865. Three children were born to this union. Mr. Forsyth passed away May 11, 1871.

    Mrs. Forsythe was a member of the Episcopal church in Quincy. She was a kind Christian woman and was a gentle and loving mother. She never complained during her illness but was patient and thankful for all that was done for her.

    Mrs. Forsyth is survived by one son. J. M. Forsyth, of this city, and by three grandchildren, Forrest J., W. H. Forsyth and Mrs. C. J. Hyslop. There are two great grandchildren, William and James Forsyth.

    Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at Grace church with Rev. W. P. Foley officiating. Interment will be made in Linwood Cemetery.
