    Mathias Dahm

    In the Name of God. Amen.
    I Mathias Dahm widoer of the Town of Niles in the County of Cook and State of Illinois being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament

    First. I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.

    Second. After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts I give devise and bequeath unto my son-in-law Mathias Foegen all the money than on hand and the notes outstanding not secured by mortgage or Trust Deeds for nursing, and taking care of me during the last days of my life.

    Third. I give devise and bequeath to my son John Dahm one note of six hundred (600) Dollars or whatever remains unpaid thereon, signed by himself and wife secured by a Trust Deed dated First day of November 1887 and recorded November the Twenty Second 1887 in the recorder's office of Cook County Illinois in book 2354 page 36 as Doc. Number 897050.

    Fourth. I give devise and bequeath to my son Peter Dahm one note of six hundred (600) Dollars or what ever remains unpaid thereon signed by himself and wife, secured by a Trust Deed dated the first day of November 1887 and recorded November the Twenty second 1887 in the Recorder's Office of Cook County Illinois in book 2354 page 33 as Doc. Number 897042.

    Fifth. To my daughter Angelia Foegen I give devise and bequeath one note of six hundred (600) Dollars or whatever remains unpaid thereon signed by herself and husband, secured by a Trust Deed Dated the first day of November 1887 and Recorded in the Recorder's office of Cook County Illinois, in book 2354 page 35 as Doc. Number 897048.

    Sixth. To my daughter Apolonia Schulz I give devise and bequeath, one note of Six Hundred (600) Dollars or whatever remains unpaid thereon signed by herself and husband, on November the first 1887 and recorded in the recorder's office of Cook County Illinois on November 22nd 1887 in book 2354 page 34 as Doc. Number 897045.

    Seventh. To my daughter Maria Blameuser I give devise and bequeath, one note of Six Hundred (600) Dollars or whatever remains unpaid thereon signed by herself and husband on November the first 1887 and recorded November 22nd, 1887 in the Recorder's Office of Cook County Illinois in book 2354 page 34 as Doc. Number 897045 all of the above mentioned property being section 16 J. 41 N. R 13 E. of the 3rd O. M. Cook County Illinois.

    Eighth: my son John Dahm who is named in all of said Trust Deeds as successor in Trust shall cancel all of said notes mark them paid and shall sign and deliver a release deed to all of said parties including his own.

    Lastly, I make, constitute and appoint Mathias Foegen without a bond to be executor of this, my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.

    In Witness Thereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affirmed my seal, the Sixth (6th) day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two (1902)

    This instrument was on the day of the date thereof signed published and declared by the said testator Mathias Dahm to be his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who at his request have subscribed our names thereto as witness, in his presence, and in the presence of each other.
