The following summary of a deed was sent to me by a descendant. I have not verified that the deed was interpreted correctly. Though I do not see anything in her statements that seem out of place.

Summary:

"Bennett Taylor sold some land he inherited in Norwalk (Fairfield Co.), Conn, on 6 October 1824 to Dan. Taylor. The land was originally owned by his grandfather, then left for his grandmother's use when his grandfather passed away. His share is from his father Robert W. Taylor."

My interpretation:

Bennet Taylor and his wife Rachel sold land in Norwalk, Fairfiled County, Connecticut on October 5, 1824 to Dan Taylor. The land was originally owned by Ahijah Taylor and was left for his wife, Isabella's use. When she died in January of 1824, some of the land was inherited by Bennet Taylor because his father, Robert W. Taylor, had already passed away. The document was signed in the presence of Charles W. Taylor and Seth Taylor. The Justice of the Peace who signed it was also Seth Taylor. Dan Taylor is Robert W. Taylor's brother and Charles W. Taylor is Bennet Taylor's brother.
