    William Brwer died intestate late in 1814 or early 1815. The Court Order Book shows that John Dillard Jr. was appointed guardian to Martha W., Matilda M., Lucy, Samuel, Lorenzo Dow, Sarah, Catharine, William Patterson and John Brewer, infant heirs of William Brewer, deceased for the purpose of defending a suit brought by Thomas Nicold.
