    In the name of God amen I Avelina Forsythe of Bourbon County and State of Kentucky being weak in body but sound in mind & memory & calling to mind the mortality of man, & knowning that it is appointed for all men to die, do this twenty ninth day of June, in the year of our Lord 1829, do make publish & ordain this my last will & Testament as follows That is to say I commit my soul to God who gave it & my body to be decently intered at the discretion of my Executors, and as touching my wordly Estates whomint[?] it has pleased God to bless me after my debts & forward expenses are paid & fully discharged, it is then my will that my remaining property real and personal be equally divided in five shares, one fifth I will and bequeath to my mother Ann Forsythe, the remaining four fifths I bequeath to my four sisters, to be equally divided amongst them first Anagalar Amelia Viviami & Elvira. It is my wish that my unclde Caleb Letton shall mamange the share & have bequeathed to my mother and let her have all the profits or proceeds as fast as She may need it, and if any should be left of my mother's share after her death, I wish it to be equally divided between my two brothers January & Alexander Forsythe. It is my will that my unclde Caleb Letton be my Executor to execute this my Last Will & Testament. In testimony whereof I have set my hand and affixed my Seal, this day & date above written. Smith clerk of the County Court for said county do certify that this Last Will and Testament of Avelina Forsythe Dec'd was ?ed in open court by the Oath of Preston Lindsay & Alexande[r] McClintock witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded whereupon the same hath been duly admitted to Record in my office Given under my hand this 3rd day of May 1830.

    The following is an Inventory of the estate of Avalena Forsythe deceased which has come to my hands as her Executor. and all the estate of Said Teststrise which has come to my hands being cash I have thought an appraisement unnecessary. The money which has come to hand is what I have Received in October eighteen hundred and thirty and ammounts to six hundred and fifty nine dollars.
