Note

Baldwin shows his parents as Fulk V, Count of Anjou and Eremburge, the daughter of Helia de la Fleche as his parents. He references Book VIII of Robert of Torigny's additions to the "Gesta Normannorum Ducum" as evidence to support this. The GND was written in about 1070/1 and Robert of Torigny's additions were added in 1139. The GDN was therefore a contemporary work for this period.
