At a Court of probate held in Fairfield January ye 7th AD: 1733/4 personally appeared John Fillou adm'tr ye Estate of John Fillo Late of Norwalk Dec'd & made solemn oath before sd Court yt ye above & foregoing is a true & perfect inventory of all ye Estate of ye sd Dec'd yt he knows of & if anything hereafter appear belonging to sd Estate he will cause it to be inserted

    Know all Men by these Presents, That we John Fillo principle & Christopher Ellot surety both of Norwall in yr County of Fairfield are holden and stand firmly bound and obliged unto John Burr Esq; Judge of the Court of Probate for ye District of ye County of Fairfield in the penal sum of one hundred pounds lawful money of the said County, to be paid to the said John Burr Judge, her certain attorney, successors, or assigns: For the which payment well and truly to be made, we bind our selves, and each of us; our Heirs, Executors, Administrators; and each and every of them, for and in the whole; Firmly by the Presentsm Sealed with our Seals. Dated ye thirteenth day of December in the seventh year of his majesties reign. Annoque Domini, 17333
    The condition of this obligation is such, that if the above bounden John Fillo Administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of John Fillo late of Norwalk aforesaid, deceased, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singlular the gods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said John Fillo or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the registry or the said Court of Probate, on or before ye first Tuesday of January next ensuing; and the same goods chattels and credits, and all other the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, at the time of his death, which at any time after shall come into the hands or possession of the said John Fillo or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him. Do well and truly administer according to law. And further, do make or cause to be made a true and just account of his Administration, at or before the ye firs Tuesday of March Annoque Domini, 1734 and all the rest and residue of the said goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said administrators account (the same being first examined and allowed of by the said court) shall deliver and pay unto such person or persons respectively, as the said Court by their decree or sentence, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the law shall limit and appoint and if it shall hereafter appear, that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased, and the executor or executors therein named, do exhibit the same into the said Court, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly, if the said John Fillo above bounden being thereunto required, do render and deliver the said Letters of Administration (Approbation of such Testament being first had and made) in the said Court; then this obligation to be void, and of no effect; or else to remain in full force, effect and virtue
