Note
Daniel Lamoureux was the son of Andre’ Lamoureux married Suzanne de la Tour. He was born in Bristol, England on November 29, 1695, and was baptized there at the French Church, on December 1, 1695. He died in October of 1754 in near Shawangunck, Ulster County, New York.
Sometime not long before 1700, Daniel emigrated from Bristol, England to New York with his parent's and siblings, aboard his father's ship. His found in the 1703 New York City Census, in the West Ward of New York City, under his father's name as a male under 16 years.
In 1713, Daniel was an apprentice cordwainer (goatskin boot maker) in New York City.
On May 16, 1721, Daniel is made a Freeman of New York City.
On June 9 1744, Daniel, widower of "Jannitie Marsze", living on "Mennier of Cortlandt" (Cortland Manor, later Yorktown) married Aaltie Storms, the widow of Fredreck Banker, in the Sleepy Hollow Dutch Reformed Church, New York. Aaltie was at the time living in Philipsburg, Westchester County, New York and had 5 children between the ages of 7 and 19. It is not known if all the children were living.
The family remained in Philipsburg until prior to October 10, 1753 when "Daniel & Aaltie Lamerie" are listed as helping build the church at Shawangunk, Ulster County, New York. They owned their own pew.

Daniel Lamoureux married Jeanne Masse' on June 28, 1719 in New York City, New York. They had the following children (the first three in New York City, the next 4 in New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York. Suzanne in Bedford, New York, and Josue in New York):

Daniel and Jeanne moved to New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York in between 1724 and 1726. Then between 1732 or 1736, the family moved again to Bedford (near Yorktown), Westchester County, New York. On December 2, 1842, "Danneyel Lamppewa" is listed on the register of the Manor of Philipsburg (now Yonkers) on the Hudson River. Two of their sons, Piere and Jean moved to Cornwall, Orange County, New York.
