Note

Said to be daughter of Francis Clark and Mary Lee of Middlesex, Connecticut (for whom there is a large known ancestry), but I've not found any evidence of this. The earliest record we have for her is her marriage in Connecticut in 1773. The only source we have for her surname is an Michael Webster's obituary printed in the newspaper. Obituaries are notorious for getting these two particular facts wrong, so there is much doubt as to her ancestry.
