Family Note
Henrich Heintz was the son of Gerhard Heintz and Anna Maria Sonnen. Catharina Weiler was the daughter of Jacob Weiler of Matzen and Maria Catrherine Igel. They were both of Matzen, Bitburg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. They had a daughter Elizabeth (24 Jun 1804 - 20 Apr 1902) m. Johannis Wagner.

Chris Weiler provided the following information on their ancestry:

"The Record are located on Bitburg/Matzen and Rittersdorf. The Ritersdorf films of interest are #1336866 which is church family book (Familienbuch) going back to the mid 1700's and # 0556214 which has baptism, mariage and death records from about 1805. There are several rolls for Bitburg which include records for the catholic church known as St. Peters and the catholic church known as "Liebfrauenkirche". This second one is the primary source although a few records are noted at St. Peters. The churches all (including Rittersdorf) shared the same Priest and they apparently weren't to diligent about where the record was recorded. These films are #1336840, 1336841, 0585973 and 0532188. There are also records from Fliessem which might be helpful in your research # 1336847, 0587661 and 0463568 dating back to the mid 1700's."
