Source Note
Many of the persons listed near Alexander in 1790 were not found in or were found in other locations in 1796, however many were found still together. The number on the left represents the position in the census relative to Alexander. Negative numbers are listed before him, and positive numbers are listed after him. The number in the second column represents the house number on North Howard St in 1796. In general, the persons were all found on Howard St., between 116 and 29. Alexander did not lease his property at 104 until 1794.

  0 Alexander Forsyth
 +1 29 Christian Close
 +6 28 Frederick Decker
+11 43 Peter Walter
+22 41 Ephraim Robinson

*The three persons listed just prior to him were not found in 1796, so those addresses may not be valid for 1796.

It appears from this list that Alexander may have lived at 30 N. Howard St. as he is listed just before Christian Close who lived at 29. N. Howard St, Although Alexander could have lived anywhere between 30 and 75. In 1816, there were taverns located at 41 and 7 N. Howard St. Perhaps it was the tavern at 41 that Alexander lived at in 1790.
