  • Text: M.L. [Martha Lurinda] Forsythe is listed in 1910 Plat book. She owned about 10 acres in Sec. 16 Houston Twp. Adams County, Illinois (this would have been part of William Madison's original ground) and another appox. 10 acres about a couple miles to the west. The second section may well have been the Forsyth's original homestead.
