in 1633, granted land in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts; in 1636, one of the overseers of Thomas Newberry's estate. On March 1, 1639, presented articles of agreement between Thomas Newberry's heirs and Richard Wright. On June 28, 1654, purchased land jointly with his brother John, his son William, and Thomas Hosford. On December 25, 1654, granted 21 acres of land. Some genealogies show his parents as John Gaylod and Jane Mallin. I have not found any sources that will support this claim.
