There was also a Thomas Jackson of Bristol, shoemaker who had come from Ashford, Kent, England that outlived our Thomas Jackson, so must have been a different person.

There was a Miles Jackson, merchant also from Bristol who died in 1664. He was probably the brotehr of Thomas. In "The Devon Carys, Volume 2" by Fairfax Harrison, on page 538 he calles Miles, Thomas' brother, but on page 565, he refers to him as probably Thomas' father. This was because Miles Jackson was mentioned in Henry Hobson's will, but the mention was due to the confirmation of a deed. It does not refer to his relation.
