Charles Cawley: ""Galindo comes, filius Garsiani...et coniux mea Guldreguth" donated property to the monastery of San Pedro de Siresa by charter dated 25 Nov "regnante domno nostro Lodovico imperatore". This document is dated to [828/33] by the editor of the collection, which if correct indicates that it is chronologically impossible for Galindo to have been the son of conde García Galíndez "el Malo", as shown in many secondary sources."
