Cawley: "According to Europäische Stammtafeln, the wife of Markgraf I was the daughter of Graf Ernst. The primary source on which this is based has not yet been identified. It is possible that it is based solely on onomastic speculation, because of the transmission of the name Ernst into the Babenberg family with her son."
