Three brothers. Parents not identified. They are shown in Europäische Stammtafeln as the sons of Ehrenfried [I] Graf von Bliesgau & his wife Adelgunde ---. The primary source which confirms this suggestion has not been identified. Considering the geographical distance between Bliesgau and Charpeigne (in the central part of the duchy of Upper Lotharingia) and Keldachgau and Bonngau (in Lower Lotharingia), there must be some doubt about whether it is correct.
