Weis places her as Richilde the daughter of Otto I, King of Germany. "Europäische Stammtafeln" has her as Reginlint, the daughter of Liudolf, Duke of Swabia, the son of Otto I and Eadgyth and Ida. See Stewart Baldwin for a discussion as to why she probably wasn't either.
Cawley: "Jackman identifies her as daughter of Liudolf [of Saxony] Duke of Swabia, son of Emperor Otto I, but the question is not without controversy. In view of the clear statement in the Historia Welforum and the spurious charter, it has been decided to show her here as the child of Emperor Otto I despite the unreliability of these sources, but in square brackets to indicate doubt. If this is correct, she must presumably have been the child of the emperor's second marriage, unless she was illegitimate."
