Robert Marquis in Neustria
  • Details
  • Pedigree
Commentary
Weis names him as a son of Rutpert III, Graf im Wormsgau and Wialdruth. Contemporary writers did not list his parents. Although Baldwin lists his parents (Robert and Waldrade) as probable, his analysis comes out in support of them and states that this is now the widely accepted lineage. Charles Cawley says that his parentage is obscure. Both authors discuss at length as many a 6 different theories.
