Commentary
According to TGMB, by Robert Charles Anderson under his entry for ____ Ford and Martha (the Widow Foord) who came on the Fortune in 1621, and who the widow later married Peter Brown, no son William is listed. He also states that Florence Barclay in his 1966 article in The American Genealogist, vol. 42, pp. 35-42, "Barclay's most important conclusions were ... that William Ford of Marshfield was not part of this family."
