Note
David Lyon was the son of David Lyon and Elizabeth _____. He was born between November 23, 1719 and November 22, 1720, and died on November 22, 1764. His gravestone lists his age as 44. His will was dated October 23, 1764, and was proved on December 4, 1764.
David married first Abigail _____ who died on July 26, 1745. They had one daughter:

David Lyon, the son of David and Martha, was captured during the revolution and died in prison. His sons, David and Joseph, were placed under guardianship of Joseph Bennett.

In his will dated October 23, 1764, David Lyon names his eldest daughter Eunice Lyon from his first marriage, his son David, who is under 21, daughters Sarah, Lydia, Martha, Betty and Rebecca, his present wife Martha, Exec’x.
On May 12, 1769, an agreement was signed naming Sarah Bennit (wife of Joseph), Lydia Lyon and Martha Lyon, as heirs of David Lyon.
