Weis makes his 2nd wife Mathilde d'Angouleme the mother of Hugues X, but it may not be correct because Hugues X's wife, Isabel d'Angouleme was Margaret's first cousin and therefore they wuold have been related within the prohibited degree. In that case, Hugues IX's 1st wife, Agathe de Preuilly would have to be Hugues X's mother. Weis cites several references, but I do not have access to them.
