Commentary
Stewart Baldwin: 'See CGH 117e39 ff., Kelley's Line X. Kelley suggests that the line might be valid "at least to the third century A.D.," but I can see no reasonable possibility that such a statement might be true for this or any other Irish family. The pedigree is quite solid back to the late seventh century, but the earlier dynastic history of Osraige is obscure, and confused further by the fact that another dynasty apparently occupied the throne in the late sixth and early seventh centuries.'
