Family Note
Peter Wagner is the son of Nicholas Wagner and Anna Marie Kleiter. He was born about 1768 in Fliessem, Rheinland, Preussen (Prussia) in what is now Germany. He was baptized there on September 17, 1773. He died in Fliessem on December 17, 1856 at the age of 88, and was buried there 3 days later at the Heiligkreuz Katholisch. His name is variously spelled as Petrus, Petro, and Petri. Peter married Margarethae Gaveler on February 21, 1803 at the Heiligkreuz Katholisch in Fliessem. Margarethae was born in 1775 in Neidenbach in what is now Germany. Peter and Margarethae lived in the town of Bitburg, in the village of Fliessem, Germany.

They had several children:
