The inquisition post mortem of her father, taken in 1283, states that she turned 1 year old on the preceding feast of the Purification of the Virgin Mary (ad festum Purificationis Beatæ Mariæ Virginis proximo), i.e. 2 Feb. 1283, while that of her mother, taken in 1306, makes her 24 years old; see Calendarium Genealogicum Henry III and Edward I, ed. Charles Roberts, 2 vols. (London, 1865), 1:330-31, 2:706.
