CommentThere are three early Irish sources that list the genealogies of Fergus. All three list Ercc, King of Dalriada and his father and Eochaid Muinremur, King of Dalriada as his grandfarther. Weis follows these lines. Baldwin says this is uncertain as Ercc may be legendary, and Eochaid Muinremur probably is.
